# Terms of Use

Welcome to ScriptCam! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ScriptCam mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

## 1. Use of the App

You may use ScriptCam for personal, non-commercial purposes. The App allows users to write scripts, read them using a teleprompter, and record video.

### Free Tier:
- Write scripts up to 500 characters
- Scripts are not saved after exiting the app
- Access to limited teleprompter and video features

### Premium Tier (via in-app purchase):
- Unlimited script length and saves
- AI-powered script generation and enhancement (5 uses/day)
- Dark mode customization
- Full access to advanced teleprompter and video features

## 2. Subscription & Payments

Premium features are unlocked via in-app purchases or subscriptions managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All billing, renewal, and cancellations are handled by those platforms.

### Lifetime Purchase:
A one-time payment provides permanent access to premium features.

Please refer to Apple or Google’s policies for subscription management and refund requests.

## 3. User Content

Any scripts or content you input into the App are your responsibility. You retain ownership of your content. By using AI features, you agree to share your input with OpenAI for processing (see our Privacy Policy).

## 4. Restrictions

You may not:
- Use the App for unlawful or abusive purposes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the App
- Reproduce, redistribute, or resell the App or its content

## 5. Third-Party Services

ScriptCam uses third-party services including:
- **RevenueCat** (subscription management)
- **OpenAI** (AI script features)
- **Expo, React Native, Apple, and Google** (camera, media, payments)

You agree to the terms of those providers when using their integrated features.

## 6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that harms others or disrupts services.

## 7. Disclaimer

ScriptCam is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or continuously available.

## 8. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the new Terms.
